KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) - A woman, who was on a ferry in the middle of a storm, caught amazing video of a lightning strike that she shared with CBS affiliate WNCT.
Bonnie Twigg of Kinston was just a stone's throw away from the strike while she was in the middle of the Pamlico Sound.
She says it was too hot inside the ferry, so she and her boyfriend stepped outside to catch some of the 72 mile per hour breezes and video some choppy waves with her cell phone.
"I was praying the whole way, God get us home safe. The Good Lord makes some beautiful scenery but it was time to get off the ferry," said Twigg, who added, "It was definitely an interesting trip!"
