This Zim Bear is scheduled to be given away to the first 10,000 fans on Friday, June 29 against the Detroit Tigers.
St. Petersburg, Florida -- If you missed out on one of the Tampa Bay Rays' quirkiest game giveaways, don't fret; you'll have another chance to get your very own Zim Bear.
The cuddly -- and perhaps a bit creepy -- stuffed bear has the likeness of Rays coach and baseball great Don Zimmer.
The Zim Bear became a bit of a viral sensation after it was announced earlier this year (and even has its own Facebook page), and fans clamored to get their own doll when it was first given away back on June 29.
Due to popular demand, the Rays announced Wednesday that they would hold a second Zim Bear giveaway, this time for the first 10,000 fans who attend the Monday, September 3rd Labor Day game against the New York Yankees.
