Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes on Monday inked
forward Drayson Bowman to a two-year contract.
A non-traditional pact, it will pay the left winger $600,000 at the NHL level
and $105,000 in the AHL for next season only. In 2013-14, the contract will
compensate him for $600,000.
The 23-year-old Michigan native tallied six goals and 13 points in 37 games
for the 'Canes last year.
In 69 NHL contests over three years, Bowman has totaled eight goals and 16
points.
