Montreal, QC (Sports Network) - For the first time since late December,
Kings veteran forward Simon Gagne is expected to return to the lineup for Game
3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
RDS of Canada reported the move, hours before the contest was set to play out
at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
Gagne, a 12-year pro, has been sidelined since December 26 after suffering a
concussion.
The 32-year-old totaled seven goals and 17 points in just 34 regular-season
games, his fewest since making 25 appearances in 2007-08 for Philadelphia.
It will be the second career Finals appearance for the Quebec native. Gagne
registered a pair of goals in a six-game Flyers loss to the Blackhawks in
2010.
