Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets signed guard Keith Bogans on
Thursday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Bogans played in five games with the Nets last season before suffering a
season-ending ankle injury on February 8 against Detroit. He later had surgery
to repair the torn deltoid ligament and is expected to be ready for training
camp.
A nine-year veteran who was taken 43rd overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the
2003 NBA Draft, he has averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds over 591 games.
He has also played with Orlando, Charlotte, Houston, Milwaukee, San Antonio
and Chicago in his career.
