(Sports Network) - Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil is facing a
felony gun charge after being arrested in Miami.
Miami-Dade County court records showed Sunday that Dumervil was charged with
aggravated assault with a firearm.
KCNC in Denver reported that Dumervil was arrested Saturday night and his bond
was set at $7,500. Police have yet to disclose any details about the arrest.
Dumervil, 28, had a career-high 17 sacks in 2009. He missed all of 2010 after
having surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle and returned to play 14 games
this past season, racking up 42 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks. He has 52 1/2 career
sacks.
