Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Baltimore Orioles recalled pitcher
Tommy Hunter from Triple-A Norfolk Wednesday.
This will be Hunter's fourth stint with Baltimore this season. He has a 3-4
record with a 6.11 earned run average over 15 games, including 13 starts, with
the Orioles. Hunter is scheduled to start against Minnesota Wednesday night.
To make room for Hunter, Baltimore designated pitcher Brad Bergesen for
assignment.
Bergesen, who had his contract selected on Tuesday, went 4-3 with a 4.03
ERA in 22 games -- 10 starts -- with Norfolk this season.
He did not make an appearance with the Orioles this year.
