St. Petersburg, Florida -- Jeb Bush did not rule out running for the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination this week and since the moment he was elected to the U.S. Senate, Marco Rubio has been rumored as a candidate for the White House. So could we see both men run for the GOP nomination in 2016?

Tampa Bay Times Political Editor Adam Smith doesn't see both men entering the race.

"They have a very good relationship and I think most people think if Jeb Bush runs Marco Rubio would not," Smith said.

It's a feeling shared by University of South Florida St. Petersburg Professor of Political Science Dr. Seth Mckee who believes Rubio will wait until Bush decides.

"I think it's probably one or the other and I think if Jeb wants it then Rubio is out of the picture," KcKee told 10 News.

"Marco Rubio probably has more sort of small donor grassroots activists support outside of Florida and across the country but inside Florida... sort of all the elites of the Republican Party, as much as they love Marco Rubio Jeb Bush is king," added Smith.

Bush says he will decide after the mid-term elections in 2014 if he will run for President. "I've decided not to think about it for a while and I have the disciple to do that," the former Florida Governor told CBS on Friday.
